For hanging onto the hook so you can shake a catfish off without touching him.

Ok, Scottv got it...

Grab the line on one hand and my gizmo In the other hand, hook it to the fish hook and u can flip the catfish off with a flipping motion without touching the fish or the hook. I made these back when I used to spec fish on the coast cause it Is dangerous to touch those salt water catfish, they fin u and u got a sore for days.

Ha Ha, I've been using pliers for that for years but the more I looked at the picture, I figured that would work good. I hate touching catfish.

I know Scott hates to remove catfish but he even does it for me, glad you won it Buddy.

I think South65 deserves one . Looks like he was right on.

He was REAL close,,, Scott was dead on when he said shake off the CATFISH without touching it. However, I'm sending Mason one anyway. He deserves one, whith all those cats he catches...lol
