    You can drill the outlet holes out and cut down on the water pressure. My old man used one like that for years in his rig, even after I rigged boats and custom aquariums with raw water and recirculating pumps as a side job and a raw-water live well wouldn't have cost him a thing. He didn't want to fix what wasn't broke. It would keep a well full of pinfish alive all day. A blacked-out livewell full of bait was another story. The pump would beat them up and the water would get slimed pretty quickly. It would probably work fine for minners.
