I use 12ft PST's and 1 14ft. Have fished neighbors 14's. I prefer the 12 but would like one more 14. Those 16 seem like to long for me fishing by myself most of the time. Seems they would be fine if you fishing side by side with someone to net for you. Certainly a great buy. I love mine. I know BRM uses those longer poles and thinks they are the only way to go.
