I caught the Cabelas blue drift socks on sale last year for 12.50 each (3X=56" and 4X=65"). I bought all they had left, and have sold em all except the 4 I kept.

I agree with the other guys, chains in stumps, and timber, and socks in open water.

I disagree about tourney fishing from a glass boat tho. I use a big Xpress, and I can control it in any situation just as easy as I did my Ranger. Plus, aluminum is less than half the price of glass. Gotta buy a GOOD boat tho. The Xpress IS the best aluminum fishin boat out there. I'm referring to the Pad Ride Hyperlift models. I have an Xpress 20' H-20PFC coming with a 200 Yammie SHO on it. It's a new model they built for me. It's just like the H-18PFC but 2' longer, and bigger engine. It has all the toys on it. The PFC's come with 2 huge livewells, and three across seating, etc. the PFC's are the crappie, multi species model.
