Lakeway minners
Small is a #6
Medium is a #8
Large are a #10
The minnow farms call a #6 a medium minnow. A #4 is a small. Lots of places sell minnows that aren't graded very well because they give less for ungraded minnows. There is less labor involved with ungraded minnows. BTW, a #8 is considered a large minnow at Most bait shops.

A #6 minnow means that 1000 minnows weigh 6 pounds. That is a tad over 83 dozen. #8 #12 same thing. 8 pounds and 12 pounds respectively. Still a tad over 83 dozen. The minnow farms that I hauled out of don't grade a #10. Just 6, 8 and 12s for crappie and over 25 for bass and pike.

Thanks jigflinger. Glad to know that. 1lb=~14dozen
Never had a problem there. Come in on the south side and get 4 dozen and leave with 40.

Stopped at The Dam Store about 4:00 this afternoon to fill the boat up with gas. Both gas pump nozzles were covered up with grocery bags. Just pulled out and kept going.
They havent had gasoline in 2 months ATM
What's up with The Dam Store? Went by there Tuesday morning a little before 7:00 and several fishermen were lined up in the parking lot waiting on them to open at 6:00!
Someone must have enjoyed too much Christmas cheer Monday night!
