Lakeway medium is probably a #6 minnow. Jigflinger could explain the sizing and numbers per pound better than me since he used to haul them.

I dont what minnows go for per dozen in north Ms? Maybe they are higher than what we are used to paying for them down here and at the Rez. All Feesh and I were sayin is that 2.25 per dozen is way higher than what we were paying anywhere else. Usually we pay from 1.10 to 1.25 per dozen. Thats all we were saying was that the price per dozen was higher than what we were used to paying. We got 24 dozen and it cost us 54 bucks, now anywhere else it would have cost between 26.40 to 30.00 bucks. Thats quite a difference in price from what we are used to paying. Maybe minnows are that price in North Ms i dont know??? Actually we did ask her for a discount for buying so many and she gave us a discount that knocked it back to like 51 bucks I think. And they were as nice as a people as I ever met, I agree on that, not a problem with minnows dying or anything else , heck we still got em alive in a cooler at Feeshes house so that was not a prob. We just thought the price of the minnows was high and it was compared to what we normally pay.

I understand that now feelay we just were a little sticker shocked since we hadnt been up ther in long time lol. Btw I couldnt agree with ya more about the size thing the mediums at lakeway are huge by alot of peoples standards. Heck I had some left over from Lakeway last year one day and took them to the Tenn Tomm with me a couple o days later and when I baited up my poles and started trolling the dang crappie were jumping out of the water they were so scared.

Now Mr. Jim, we've fished together quite a few times and you know my boat is 20+ years old with dark age electronics, cheap pole holders and rods just like your Wally Marshall's. I'm just an old retired guy like you trying to catch a few crappie now and then. I can't believe that you're talking about me that way.
