Give ya 250 for the boat, you keep the motor and ill Change my own flats.

I ain't a fan of execs, but bet the small motors are a whole different animal.

Big ones 90 and up have a tendency to go pop an are said it have weak lower units. I dunno, but resale on em is crap. They are sweet when running though.

Heard the 150's & up were a problem before 2010. If running a 150 or higher you need to run the XD100 oil. I have a 60 HP Etec on a 18' Triton TS18. Several others around here have them up to 130's on similar boats and fiberglass boats up to 250. No problems except injector went bad 2 weeks shy of warranty running out. Couple other injectors gone bad in others, but found they had a bad lot of them from over seas. Evinrude is covering those problems. I would put another one on tomorrow. Saved me hundreds if not a thousand+ in fuel and oil expense in 4 years and run it wide arse open from day one. My boat runs usually 2 times a week on the water 10 months of the year. Best starting motor I have ever used. I got the white one to match the boat, but only difference is the sticker on the white ones say Salt Water and the blue don't. Same motors. I say congrats. Buddy of mine just put a 225 Etec on his Ranger that had a 250 (other brand) and it is running better and faster than the 250. I have the luxury of the largest Etec distributer in the South being 2 miles from me and some dang good techs there too. They also sell Yammy and Mercs. All have good and bad points.
