Installed it to the ribs with a couple of galvinized screws. got one pump discharge toward short end and one to long end of tank. creates a flow through the tank. tap water treated with aquarium addative and aquarium salt.
Aquarium stuff was all free and so was tank had to buy PVC valve and fittings. Ask aroiund and people will have pumps and filters laying around.
