Lot of difference between keeping up with 6 and 50, maybe you got a bunch of toes or something and dont have trouble keeping up but I know I have at times and its easy to do.
Why judge someone else when you dont know the particulars and frankly the particulars arent any of our business, nice haul.

How many ever is in the boat times 6, no more than 4 mallards of which 2 can be hens! We hunt with 6-7 people sometimes and never have any problems counting that high, and have never went over our limits, not even by 1. It's called respecting your game laws and more importantly knowing the game laws in the state in which you travel to, to take game or fish, bc they are different in each state and different parts of states
And it's fairly easy to come up with a counting system in your boat to be sure!
It was a very nice catch for sure. Anytime I'm fishing out of state, I always make sure of the regs for that body of water. 50 is the limit for 3 in a boat in Ms.They found a loop hole in the law by dropping the first guy off on the bank.I believe they knew what they were doing. The bite was on so they thought this was a easy way to catch 60 fish!!! Sooner or later you're gonna get caught breaking the law!We all need to help Ms.Game and Fish by keeping their phone # in our cells and when we see something we know is illegal we should report it.They can't cover every ramp all day long I guess, so if we see something we should give them a call so they can come check out the situation!I'm not just picking on out of staters, but everyone that breaks the law.My 2 cents![]()

Wow, are you really saying its ok to break the law if you have a hard time counting??? You said they dropped a guy off at the shore and he took his limit in. There is nothing else to be said after that other than they were breaking the law on purpose. Just don't understand your logic on this one.......

How is the new law written? I haven't seen a copy of it yet. There could be some grey areas. I am not condoning breaking any laws but just playing devil's advocate. What if a guide takes one party out in the morning then a different party out in the afternoon. The morning group catches and keeps 40 fish. Does that mean the afternoon group can only keep 10 out of the same boat? If two of the three fishermen in the pic went out together and one of them caught his limit and went back in, then the other guy went out with the first guy, are they only allowed to have 30 between the two of them? I'm not arguing, I really don't know the answer here. Could someone clarify? Thanks.

It states that it is a daily boat limit. Looks like 50 per day per boat is how I read it.

Thanks Handi. It looks like the way it is once the boat hits 50 crappie with 3 or more fishermen, the boat is finished for the day. If they took out a different boat, they can then finish their limits?

Thats a crazy rule because it can only be inforced if a GW catches you in the boat with three people and over 50fish......after folks and fish are out of the boat it cannot be enforced
