    Nothing wrong with road kill venison as long as it is fresh when you pick it up. Doen't make a difference if it is killed by a 30-06 or an f-150, dead is dead.

    I ain't telling . For about 6 months in the winter i ran a paper route lots of rabbits out that time of the morning .

    I ain't got a problem with what your doing at all, something just tells me the ol' boy the story was about wasn't as picky about it being as fresh as you are!
