I'm all for anything that'll help our readers feel better about visiting the Miss. forum. My beef is about new folks visiting our forum and leave feeling rejected or insulted. Now, I'm like Minner and WB, I can tell when my chain is being pulled, but some folks who've just clicked on our forum, asks a question, gets some answers, then the thread turns south, probably leaves thinking we're all nuts. It may be part of our culture to jab folks for fun, but you don't do it to folks you just met.
Slab has been around long enough to know when us Southern boys is serious and when we're not. Like I said, he's been around us a long time. Some folks ain't that lucky.

Agreed, but if you look back at the off topic threads from last year you will see what I am talking about. Plenty of jabbing and having fun but also plenty of fishing threads, heck alot of em live. Nothing wrong with either but a new member here should never feel uncomfortable asking a question whether it be in Off Topic or in the classifieds, too much here to learn and if you dont feel you can learn from a thread or dont feel you can help whomever is asking the question then move on, aint got to load it with crap.

By the way Minner, I am not aiming that at you I was just agreeing with you and went into the other.

I said it before, I think last week.
The main board should be for all fishing, boat, trailer, equipment, reports and that kind of comments. But it seems that no one uses the main board. Everything is posted in the OT.
OT should be for everything but fishing.

Maybe if the mods would move these post to the right board, we would start posting in the right spot.

This was just posted " Lookie what came on " fishing related, should be in the main board. I don't see anything OT about the post.
