Expert advice needed...

As most of you know I have a 90 HP fuel injected 4 stroke Yamaha on my 18' tin boat. To be honest with y'all, having all them horses back there has got me skeert. What I'm thinking of doing is swapping it out for a 1984 50 HP Force. What do you think about the hole shot? Top speed? Fuel mileage?

I couldn't do that to you Big C. Next thing you'd be wanting to upgrade your fishin gear and what not. Not to mention that 60 prolly gots to many horses in it to. I've seen a 50 HP before and I pretty much got my heart set on that.

got a 06 50 hp 2 stroke merc. a little picky on startin, but after that it fires and goes every time. me alone it will get to 34 on slick water. does o.k. since i don't get in no big hurry and gets great mph's.
