I have the Galazy S now and don't have the problems you describe. The new III has bigger screen, still has "swipe" which I really like and other advantages. I'll see if I can find the side by side comparison. The new touch screen on the i-phone has lots of reported issues. The company that makes them for Apple just not got them fixed, that's one of the reasons that they "sold out" so fast, there just weren't enough to keep up with expected sales.

"The iPhone 5 did slightly better with download speeds while the Galaxy S3 enjoyed a bigger margin on upload speeds. Keep in mind that your results may vary depending on your location, the strength of a carrier's network at a given the time, and the number of people using it around you." That quote is from C-net.

Early reports are that the I phone 5 is having alot of glitches and problems. I couldnt say for sure because I have the Moto Droid 3 and I love it. No probs whatsoever. My kids both have the I phones and I tell ya as far as apps and operating I dont see the big deal. JMO

You won't have to spend that if you extend your contract for two more years, whether you go with Apple or Samsung.

Read a article recently in time mag on phone service. Cspire got one of the top ratings from everyone where they had coverage. ATT got one of the lowest but that's what I have and have never had a problem with service anywhere in the US. Also it is the only one I could get to work here at the house. Had Verizon no go, had a company phone with Sprint and couldn't get reception anywhere.
