'82 Chevy S-10, pathetic little Izuzu 4 cyl would go about 65 downhill.
Still got it, swapped in a V-6 years ago and now it's about worn out.
Well over 400 K on what's left original.
Sitting in the shed now needing a clutch fixed, again. Never wore out a clutch in anything,
but last time the pressure plate springs disintegrated and jammed up the works.
Think it's done it again, can't push the pedal in, had to drive it home killing it and re-starting it

1970 chevy pick-up. 305, lowered front end and some wide tires. Would not do but about 100, but would get there pretty quick with that 4 barrel carb. Could see the gas gage going down when you got your foot in it. Mostly primer gray for the first year, then blue, then blew up. Sat in a pasture for about 10 yrs. Just got it going again. May post pic.
55 ford 2 door, 292 Yblock, holly 4 barrel,3/4 isky cam, Jansen pistons. Floor shift conversion kit. Dropped front end and jacked up rear. Turquoise and white in and out. Sold 2 pigs to buy it.

My dad got me all excited when he told me we were gonna find a good used Camaro. Well, that lasted until he saw how much used Camaro's were going for. Didn't get a car until my 18th birthday. What I ended up with was a brand new 1984 baby blue Ford Escort hatchback. It sure wasn't my first choice but my folks paid half. I've heard sewing machines run louder. Only had an AM radio, so I ran around with a boombox in the back seat until one of my friends took it to automotive class and put a stereo in it. No ac, no power anything and I drove the crap out of it. Paul used to pick it up and move it around -- made me so mad! When we got married, we traded it for a truck cause he just couldn't drive that little car with his knees under his chin!

1929 mod.A coupe with rumble seat neighbor gave me and my brother $5 to get it of his property.Took us about 6months to scrounge up the parts to get it running.Could fill it up for $1 and drive for a month. We did figure out how to put a starter on it,that crank was dangerous.
