Around these parts there really not needed but up north a must.....But they do crank easier and already warm like Rees said on those cold mornings. We plug ours in on those nites that get below freezeing.

Makes em easier to crank for sure, mine could stand a set of injectors but it aint smoking and gets around 16 MPG so I aint touchin it.
