And thanks to everyone for all thir supporting words here. Especially you "g". Without your ongoing help here there's no way this forum would still be going.

I agree with G and Jimfish. This site is the best thing ever happened for my fishing. I have learned so much on here and learned it from a broad range of people. I really want to see it get back to what it was when I first got on not loose it all together which could very well happen if things don't change.

Yes I have. If I want to find out what is going on in the world of crappie fishing in Mississippi, I usually have to tune in to the OT forum and read through all the BS to see if anything is happening. Is this a BAD? Seems to me we've lost out on a lot of good fishing talk by not using this whole forum for what it was intended to be. I would expect to see fishing stories, fishing questions, advice to novice fishermen, lake reports, and such on the Mississippi fishing forum instead of being buried in some hijacked OT post. We have some of the most experienced fishermen in the country on this board, but you wouldn't know it by reading all this BS. I like reading all the gossip as much as anyone, but there are limits to it. Perhaps I shouldn't be saying this cause I'm not perfect, either, but it seems to me we could do one hell of a lot better. G, MAJOR, AND SLAB can't make the changes. I think Ed has leaned over backwards for us to keep things going. It's up to us to do what's needed to put this forum on the map and be proud of it. I may be all wet, but that's the way I see it.
