Default Keeping deer out of garden....

I know we hashed over this earlier this spring, but forgot about some of y'alls methods. Please list what you have done in the past that has kept deer out of your garden. I live in Saltillo, but am originally from Monroe County (Hatley). We have 60 acres we hunt on down there, but the garden spot is small, maybe an 1/8 of an acre at most. What can we do to keep the deer out? They ate down everything earlier in the year and we replanted. They didn't touch the later planting as bad for some reason.....more green in the woods to eat I guess. So list your methods here so I can ponder over them between now and next spring.
    Thanks

I got plenty of tenderloin from hunting back last winter. I hate to kill them with little ones this time of year.......

This here will work if up to it. My unlce was a barber before he passed.but my grandmother would got to his shop once a week and pickup all the hair he cut. When he swept the floor he put all the cut hair in one can and then she would go get it. She would take it home and spread it out up and down rolls and along the outside. Once i was older i asked why and she told me to keep the deer out. That the human scent kept them away. And she lived in the sticks with deer everywhere. Sorry for long answer but there you go

Thanks for the response Big H, but I could put a barber chair in the middle of the garden and cut someones hair and they would still come and eat even while the hair cut is going on!!

We live in a small area just outside of town have 2 ac and a 20x 30 garden no houses right next to us but have neighbors 2-5 acer lots.did'nt have a problem till about 2 yr's ago. They walk right between our neighbors house he has dog's.The dog's are so use to the deer they don't even look up as they pass by.I and the neighbors started feeding them 2 years ago big mistake!!!! We have tried just about every spray, electric fence,Bobwire, lights, bells even tied a dog at the end of the garden were the deer were getting in the garden. They ate right up to where the dog was tied!!! Tried hair from the barber shop!!!! Finally we called the Game and fish they issued us a permit "depredation" permit !!! Went through congress to get it.instead of wasting the meat we eat it and what we can,t use we give it to others in need,Family shelters and elderly folks that truely need a helping hand"limited funds. Its a struggle and a fight!!! We are talking about not even raising a garden next year after the deer and this drought we have been under. The deer are hurting and really needing something to eat!!! Hope this helps. The last resort was the 22 mag it sounds bad but have no other choice and it works!!!! Its fast not much noise like a high power rifle and enough power to put them down unlike a regular 22.
