Made bushwhackers the 1st 3 days til we ran out if rum n kaluah. Lol Did all our drinking after we were done fishing. Had to be careful in my 18 1/2 foot boat especially at dixie bar.40-50 foot water in the channel turns into a 4 foot deep sand bar south of fort morgan out at the lighthouse on sand island. That causes a washing machine sea out about a mile out where we found the reds. You couldnt keep tension on the line n thats how. we lost fish. I had just lined her pole with 200 yards of 20 lb braid tipped with 30 lb floro leader n she almost got spooled. She had the fish up under rhe boat n then he took off
