If you want to help the resource, build habitat and only take what you need. No since getting worked up over what the other guy is doing, as long as he is obeying the law. If you witness an abuse call the possum cops. There are always the greedy who will hoard limits. But that is usually offset by all the gewbers out there that can't catch a limit. (wb)

I post pics and reports, but have learned how to take pics and give descriptions without anyone knowing exactly where unless they saw me in person. Just ridiculous to have a forum for crappie fishing with no reports and pics. Mississippi has some of the biggest fish in the US and I come here to see the pics and read the how it was done and I don't even fish there, YET. Catch'm, post'm, eat'm........Just say'n.............
That's funny Shine Runner I have a cell phone and have never received a picture text from you telling me exactly which one of your local lakes is hot and were the best spot is on the lake. You are also correct we have some of the best crappie fishing in the country within a 100 mile stretch of interstate which attracts pressure from a four state area---Not Just Locals!!

You should see what a thread like this will do to Butla Saturday morning which is 8.2 feet below the rule curve and only has two open ramps. It will look like a Crappiemasters tournament at the ramp.

Well didn't have 17. We kept 6 probably caught 10 more or so. Should have been drowning minnows but we was doing our own thing I was running 300s about 30 ft behind the boat. Hitting chartreuse mostly. They shut down right after 9:45 on the cranks or they moved on me. Will be back next week in my new rig.

Just 'cause evryone doesn't want to help you build yours, doesn't mean they aren't putting stuff out. Some folks like to put it where others have to work to find it. Or maybe, you just smell bad.
