Default trolling poles question, help please.............

we have, i think, 8 trolling poles, and they all have line counter reels on them. they are mostly the cheaper poles, and im thinking about leaving them strictly for pulling crankbaits, and getting new poles for spider rigging, which will save the trouble of switching over, also. my question is, do ya'll have line counter reels on your spider rigging rods, or are the lighter, conventional reels better. i know its a matter of choice, but trying to find out what ya'll use, and what would be better. im thinking about the low profile, lightweight baitcasters. thanks.

Don't really need line counters to spider rig. I have them on my trolling poles, but I use both spinning reels on one set of my spider rig poles and bait casters on another set. Line out isn't really an issue with spider rig poles, plus the line counters are heavier.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
