    Well, we got lucky. Alternator went out n the battery is bad, 451.00 n change, n the car shld be ready tomorrow. Thank heavens for small favors

    That's what I thought, n what I was told, but when they hooked it up to puter n checked it out,they said they thought the tranny was fine. I'm still a little leary, as it wld not come outta 3rd gear. But we will see tomorrow.

    Sat some trannys shift electrically.....if a fan belt breaks.....you cannot even drive some of them
