    Default Hey Barbie

Want some kittens. Well yesterday afternoon when Melissa and I got back from Sardis I was getting the boat cover out of the basement and heard some noise--thought it was baby birds so I stood and listened for a bit. Nope not birds---well this is what it was

Looks like the neighbors cat (which stays outside) found a nice place to have the kittens (four of them all alive and seem healthy. I checked to see if all were alive yesterday and decided today to move the anchors and put a piece of carpet down. My next question---how long until they are weaned so I can quite checking on them

We were staying in our RV at a park while we were building our house. When it got time to take my boat to the new house, I happened to pull the cover off and a mama cat had 6 kittens in the floor of my boat. We farmed them out to a neighboring camper. Wasn't moving in a new house with 7 cats.

yep--that's one reason I keep the boat cover on the boat--to keep the little boogers out of it

I think its six weeks on weening but if momma cat can get to them she will take care of them. I know the cat our horse barn does. You might have one to die but thats the nature of the beast.

Cool--its all I can do to keep the little honey from adopting them--and were aren't cat people-but they are way cute.

I had the cover on mine and it was a custom made cover so it fit tight. Mama cat squeezed in the space beside the outboard and the transom. Could not believe she got in there.
