I was leaving work last nite, was a quarter of the way home when I get a phone call from ADT...there is a fire alarm going off at work....
I turn around n arrive at the same time as our lovely Southaven Fire Department. I unlock the door, run in with them to find our kitchen filled with smoke...finally locate my keys n open the office door to find a trash fire.
On top of that, someone had blew out the pilot lights on the saute range, n one of the nozzles were half on...can u say boom???
Needless to say, not a good way to end the night, or morning..as it was after 3am when I finally got home. Needless to say, we were all pretty lucky...n while the fire inspector thought it looked a little suspicious, it turned out to be a bizarre set of coincidences. I however, have learned my lesson...pay close attention to the trash n pilot lights when I'm leaving work.
