I bought my daughter a 2008 Nissan about 90 days ago. A couple weeks ago a neighbor backed into it when it was parked on the street and did about $1150 in damage. The other day we were outside looking at it and talking about getting it in the body shop for repairs. Come to find out in addition to the damage from the neighbor, she has damage on the other fender from "rubbing" a car that cut in front of her, and damage on the rear from backing into a stump. That's three "wrecks" in three months.
Instead of using the insurance check to make repairs, I think I'm going to save it to pay the $1000 deductible when she wrecks it right.
Good luck with your daughters driving and prayers sent. I used to pray for all sorts of things for her; now I just ask God to keep her safe.
I think I wrecked my first car 6 times...I think it was just jinxed. Not my driving of course nonono. Hit a deer at 3 in the afternoon in the middle of July among other things!
Good luck I got one learning now.Trying to teach her to drive my truck, she hates it says it too big.Next I will try and teach her to drive a stick. That will be fun.
I got one that will get her permit in 8 months, am so dreading it.
I have a 16 y/o just got his liscense, 15 y/o twins get their permit in Nov. Next year or two should be interesting.
Good luck to ya'll with young drivers. My 14yo grandaughter has been doing pretty good driving my truck. Keep your fingers crossed.
Mine had her first wreck in her pathfinder about 2 weeks after we turned her loose by herself, rear ended one of her teachers on Goodman:yikes last one she hydroplaned on hacks, that one cost me 2500 at body shop first on I did all work but cost me 1400 in parts. She wonders why she is a senior in collage and still driving same vehiclebanghead
