Behold... the new everstart maxx
The whole experience was rather painless as I got the right person and she knew what she was doing. Battery tested bad, no dispute.
Here's the only curveball. My old battery (maxx) is a select 95 (# at the bottom right corner of battery). The 95 is no longer a maxx and now offers only 12 month warranty. They were willing to give me this battery no prob, but the maxx is now a select 96 and offers a 24 month warranty. Even though all stats appeared the same between the two, I opted to pay the difference of $14 for an additional years worth of warranty.
Pleased overall with my experience. It's nice to not get shafted for a change
