We had a dog one time that got the distemper, which in those days was 99% fatal, and my daddy soaked some corncobs on coaloil and made a collar using haywire and tied it around his neck. He got well and lived a long and happy life. True story..

[QUOTE=SlabLapper4sure;1975934]When we was kids at my grannys in Sardis, we used to cut a cane and kinda sharpen it on one end and stick a wet corncob on it, and sling it at each other. It would knock the crud out of you! Kinda like a slush snowball!!Imagine kids these days doing something like that! We had a blast!!

I seen a chick at wal-mart the other day that could've cleaned a corncob through a picket fence.... With no hands
