Get your fishing in early, cause by 10:00 a.m. all the lake lice & party boats will be out. You'll get beat to death trying to get anywhere and fishin is darn near impossible. I used to think Big Sandy was bad on the weekends, but it can't hold a candle to Pickwick.

I fished the Yellow Creek area a few years ago. 6 am around Goat Island was good. 9:30 am the lice started. 10 am I had waves coming over the front of the boat.

Pretty sure the map posted previously is correct. Your good from the dam all the way to Waterloo down the TN River and to the railroad bridge in bear creek.

Is this correct? He has a MS license, shouldn't he be able to fish beyond Scrugg's? I know a TN license can't go beyond the bridge, but I would think a MS license would be fine.

beyond Scruggs bridge is all mississippi so that part of the lake was never in question. Scruggs bridge is what I've always considered the start of the waterway. You go down far enough you'll make it to Bay Springs once you enter the waterway.
