    Coldwater River @ Arkabutla Dam, MS (Intake)

    The dam was put into operation in 1943.
    the view is better from the backroads

    The Stage Aug 10th 1951 was 193.5. I would say that 1943 through 1945 wouldn't count as it was filling up still. Although the 193.5 isn't a record (I guess you could call Feb 9 1944 the record (192.3) but it is still something. Wish I could post the spreadsheet--it is pretty interesting (if you like numbers)

    well looks like they the gauges are back to normal so have to make a correction. The last time it was at this level was 1957 in November--not that it really matters just had to correct the error
