I guess this will be there next move . I lived on Enid for 14 yrs . they target the spawn and any tournanent/ day before tour . I fished enid , sardis and grenada hard for those 14 yrs . and had my license checked 3 times maby per yr( . on avg .)
having limits on milage for wardens and hours on call makes me want to throw up my hands . worked 15 habiat days at enid to see the coe and mdwfp point fingers at each other over things they can't control and a legislature that only looks at how much money can be made. can these people get together and make the lakes better ? yes , but doubt that it ever will .example : trying to enforce (writting citations) for damaging creek beds on atv and the next 6 yrs. there is no water within a mile of where the ticket was written .the law did not help the fishing but made the state a little money . you see your idea has merit but you will only be setting limits for yourself , that you can already control .watched three guys at wildcat brake ( called dean hill rec. area now ) keep every fish they caught . when leaving the wardens were at the main entrance . I told them about the guys comming in by the old rifle range on 4-wheelers and keeping everything . their reply was " we can't be everywhere " . there are those that travel good distance to fish by the rules and those that could actually walk to the lake not observing any . to allow a guy say from amory "1" keeper over16 inch but allow this type management to exist is very hard to buy into .jmo
