Rod storage tube...

I'm thinking about buying telescopic rod storage tube and sounder if any of you use them and what you got. I need to put 6 pst's in it. 2 pst 82's, 2 pst 122's and 2 pst 163's so it has to be at least 6' long and 4" in diameter.
Trying to prevent another dog incident.

I have one from the green carp days and it will actually adjust as far as length. Had 8 rods in it last time I went to Tibby.

I made a couple out of 4" PVC a cap glued on one end and a threaded piece glued on the other end with a screw top cap. The adjustable ones seem nice, til they get jammed in the extended cab of a pickup and when the third door closes it collapses just 1 inch. That one inch give will snap a tip at best.

Well that will work for all you cheap broke behinds... But I was looking to buy one... I get 4" pvc from werk and that's too crude... I want somthing nice... I looked at some at sportsmans and they don't cost that much... $40 - $70....

The schedule 40 pvc is a lot stronger than the bought ones.....and a lot more dog proof too. You can take the money that you save and buy more crankbaits.
