Default help with trailer tire question please.......................

ive posted about this before.........one of my trailer tires is wearing on the outside tread only. I know that an axle not being square, bent hub and all that will cause it..but what I dont understand is, when you look at the tire, on the very outside edge, half the fire has some tread, and the other half wore down to almost no tread. how is this possible? doesn't a bad axle cause even wear all the way around the edge?

Not sayin you don't have a bent axle, and you should get it checked. I had mine checked because of tire wear. Axle was fine. It was those expensive useless trailer tires. I went and got a set of radial trailer tires. End of problem. They still look new and hold air pressure through the winter and summer now for almost two years. I usually am on the road with it every weekend and my average trip is 100 miles round trip with several 200+ trips mixed in. Just a thought.
