I got offered the same deal in December. Loaded out gmc 2500 diesel for 40k. After doing my research I bought a 2012 Ford f250. It list for 63k, but I gave 51k. In my opinion there is absolutely no comparison between the two. Once I drove both it was obvious to me that the ford was worth the extra money. I also believe chevy is redesigning in 2013 and there is a reason they still have 2011's left everywhere that they can't get rid of.

I have farmers that own the fords and they aren't the answer. 'I had rather walk down a road with a CHEVY hubcap in my hand than be caught ridin in a ford".

    I have 3things to say.
    1. Any new diesel truck for under 40k is a deal!!! I gave 42k for mine.
    2. B4 you start talk bad on fords look at how many of each are sold and how many are repeat buyers. I drove them all b4 I pulled the trigger and the 250 was the best for me as it had more power higher towing and bed capacity.
    C. There is no reason to talk bad about the 6.0's as mine has 100k on it and has never had a problem.
If the fish aren't bitting just remember your not at work ! :D

I am i die hard ford man. But u better knock on wood. My brother in law has been a ford service manger for 20yrs here in memphis, said they have had more trouble out of 6.0 then any ford motor has made since he has been in the business
