The story I hear is back in the day, some rockabilly star came in with his troop. Not Elvis. He told the waitess he was wanting bbq but everyone else wanted pizza. Coletta heard it and said, I'll see what I can do for you. He bought some bbq from a stand next door at the shell service station and made pizzas with it.
Elvis' favorite was peanut butter mash mellow pizza.
I was a little kid then. I would put peanut butter on a slice of bread and break up mash mellows on another. Toast them in the oven and jam them together for a sandwich. Or for a thin crust, crackers came in a square, 4 singles together the size of a slice of bread. Does anyone still make them like that?
If his aunt REALLY works at Coletta's, I already know her. I wuz juss trying to figure out which one she wuz.
