Major when you can post a pic of your gun. If you don't have the rings turned a certain way on these guns it won't let the scope go forward enuf.

This is a one piece scope mount and it looks like it is as far forward as it will go.

Found one at Grizzly Gunworks made for my TC for $229.00 and has to be installed by a gunsmith. This gun is going to get expensive.

You need scope mounts made to get the scope further forward and also the muzzle brake
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

That muzzle brake will tame the recoil quite a bit. But the muzzle blast will be horrendous. Always remember to wear ear plugs when using it. It will be loud even with muffs on. That thumbhole stock might help as much as a brake.

Major if I were you I would see about sending it off and getting the Brake cut into the barrel. Looks alot cleaner and is not as loud as some of them. Talk to Gregg about it when you talk to him??? The kind I am talkin about is just some grooves cut into the end of barrel. 2 or 3 little slits I think. Has a smooth clean look, no swell out on end of barrel as the add on type.
