so you're going to Kemper, clear water, big fish, if'n you can find'em, i know a guy who used to slay the bass down there pulling cranks. trouble is it's full of specks which are structure oriented and that's not condusive to pullin' cranks. Good luck . let me know when you're gonna try it on some white crappie

Has Kemper got most Specks in it, never caught any crappie out of there, may have to go down to Tibby then.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

yeah, it's loaded with'um. Tibby would be a great place to try any new technique, open water, lots of fish, just no size to them. But you could definately quickly learn what worked and what didn't.

Color did not seem to matter that much, Rees. What mattered most for me was not to troll in daytime spots. I had to learn to go where the fishes were and that meant shallower water than normal. Once you got used to it, you could almost predict where they would be by the weather conditions. Cloudy, breezy nights meant they would be up against banks close to deeper water. Calm nights you could find'em scattered on shallow flats in 6 feet of water. Bandit 200's worked pretty good. Moon phase did not seem to affect the fishes that much. I had a lot of fun with this till I wound up in the drink one night and the boat ran off and left me. Let us know how it works for you
