    Default My trip to Albuquerque

While out for my granddaughters graduation and having my daughter and son together for the 1st time in 12 years, she flew in from Maryland, my son took us up in the Jemez Mountains, elevation 9400 feet to visit San Gregorio Lake a little man-made lake up there. Hard to get a breath up that high for Carol and I, plus I got too much gut.

Carol and I on the hike.

    A tall Aspen.

A few wild flowers, I think Iris.

    San Gregorio Lake.

    A guy fishing.

The result, a rainbow, the only fish I saw our whole trip.

I don't know how cold that water was but I'm sure more cold than crappie water. The rainbow didn't have much color, Doug says they are stocked, guess they must fly them in unless they mule them in.
