I rigged up all my gnat rigs with fas snaps so I could easily change out colors if I wanted. Lots easier to make 12 to 18 rigs that you can interchange instead of trying to tie up 30 to 40 different ones at a time. I used the fas snaps (large size) from grizzly and really like em.

yeah--I'm using a small swivel, then the loop for the top gnat-weight-then the bottom gnat. The loop one I can change easily and will attach the rig with a small snap swivel that way I can change out the whole thing quickly. I am using 10lb f.carbon line (was gonna use 6 or 8lb but don't have any at the moment)
So we will see how that does as far as breaking off (doubt it will easily) Also I am making them different lengths for fishing shallow or deep.

I also use 10lb f carbon on my rigs and have no problems and run 6lb hi vis on the main line.
