    Default Looking for 45-70

Stainless barrel, fluted if possible, with sights, synthetic stock. Thompson or CVA. Anyone know where I can get one. I've been all over the www.

Thanks John, I had been looking at the Optma Elite but the Apex looks good too.

Apex is a good gun, thought they made it in the Scout too but you dont want a 45 70 in the Scout, too lite.

I have the .444. After some research I found that the .444 shoots a little flatter. With a 265 Hornady FTX and that dadgum Nikon 50 mm BDC scope, 200 yds ain't nothing. Not to mention it leaves a big honkin hole in whatever it hits.
