    This is why I installed the re circulation pump. I would ideally fill it up, turn off fill pump, turn on recirculation pump and turn on air pump. I do need to install a timer on recirculation pump.

    Id fix the problem first as well as install the auto switch--better piece of mind.

    The aerator pump. The recirulating pump doesn't put water IN the live well!!! It just recirculates what's already there!!!! DUH

    The air pump doesn't pump water. And it doesn't use much power so I always leave it on.

    I didn't say the air pump, I said the aerator pump, the one that pumps water INTO the live well when it's empty!!!
