If I was catching fish to sell, I'd have to have $300 lb. to break even.

Not quite what we're talking about, is it. What we're looking for is proof that people are coming to MS, catching huge amounts of crappie, returning home and selling them. If you read that post you will see that they catch the fish after you order them.

I dont want to even think about that.

I have seen the pics even posted one but as far as selling em I have NO first hand knowledge and personally dont care what they do with em when they get home. If me and a couple of folks were traveling to fish for a week I see no harm in putting em in a freezer to carry home.![]()

There are a lot of pick-ups on the road with freezers in the bed. The ones I see are peddling frozen meats. Got one comes by here on a regular route.
Now, Rockmike, you're taking the thunder out of their statement. You are correct. The cost of coming here and catching that many fish, processing them and selling them would be cost prohibitive. And those advertised from Canada are probably heavily regulated by the government.
