Ankle bitin flies
Tried fishing one of my holes yesterday. I got mauled by a bunch of flies that could bite me through thick socks. I could not get away from'em. I got tired of dancing around on my deck and went home with two fishes. I've never seen anything as bloodthirsty as the devils.

Super Band, insect repelling wristband. We put ours on the ankle.
Find the cheaper ones at walmart, big lot and dollar tree. Walmart has some higher priced ones too.
They are good for about 200 hours. Put in zip lock bag into freezer for next trip.
