When you have nothing, that sounds perfect.

I can design them different ways, doors on each end, doors on each side so you can drive through. You can insulate it or not, add windows, walk doors what ever you want. I can include the roll up doors or if you have a place you would to get them I can just just put the framed openings in and let you take it from there. Also I can put an expandable endwall in the back on the building so you can come back later and take the sheets off and add on. check out our website Spirco Metal Buildings, Steel Buildings

Will say this, its alot cheaper to do it bigger now than to try and add more to it later.

You are right about that if you can afford to do it all at one time. Save mainly on engineering, drafting and freight cost doing it all at one time

Lots of great ideas. Wish I had posted this thread before I had pad built up. Drive thru would have been nice! Cockrumcrappieman I will call you tomorrow. I will need some metal. Next door neighbor is a builder and I am using his crews and expertise for construction. I will have some storage upstairs in a loft area. Does anyone have a coating on their concrete? Good? Bad?

Bad, my 2 cents. Water or oil, super slick spot. You find a good concrete crew, they can finish it out to almost glass. But you don't really want that either.

Think his concrete may already be finished but if not I like a "broom" finish and then seal it, slick is perty but not practical in a shop enviroment.

X2 on take, my shop has a slick finish not broomed and it looks good but can be slick when wet.

My concrete has not been poured. Just dirt pad built up. I will have two bays. Do I need two floor drains or would one in the middle work? I've also been told to add a shower in the bathroom. Is the extra expense worth it? If you have one do you ever use it?
