    Here's a better look at today's catch.

Oven baked with some Southern Star on them, buttered rice and dill dip. Not too bad a day after all.

"Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing it is not fish they are after."-Henry David Thoreau Don't think it's fishing or catching for me it's getting to fish another day,a sunrise, and since I wasn't brought up in the church , that is my church some quality time to talk to the man upstairs of course it's always nice to catch a limit every once in a while too!

Yep.....getting to fish another day, a sunrise , a sunset, watching a deer come down to the waters edge for a drink of water, listening to a squirrel scolding as it watches from a overhead branch, a mother racoon and two little ones ambliing along the waters edge, a eagle soaring across the sky. A good friend in the boat, cold drinks, a good sandwich. the list just goes on and on. And yes....you realize that the Lord created all of this and its just a great day to be alive........... and, if you catch some fish, its a bonus.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I agree with yall holeheartedly but I enjoy those things no matter what I am doing I dont have to be on the water for that. I am impatient, I just cant sit watching a pole for a hour hoping for a bite. Guess that why I like pulling cranks, you change situations pretty quick till you find a pattern. Some folks can sit in one spot all day, that just aint me and I like fishing but I live CATCHING!!!! The sunrises, the eagles building there nest, helping someone else fill their cooler means alot to me. Just being in the outdoors and being able to in a blessing.
