Barbie while I was overseas April had to take our jack russell to the Doggy ER for the exact same thing. She came home from work and the crank had him all in a pretzel. Glad your's is ok too.

Needless to say, hard lesson learned. We r still unsure how the crankbait was left out, but very grateful to HL Animal Hospital. I have had to use them twice in the last 6 months, my baby Bella went into liver failure in January, n they fixed her right up. N after 9 days in the hospital, my bill was only 800.00...someone is there 24 hours a day, so if u r close by, n ever have a pet emergency, I highly recommend them.
Richochet will have to wear an E collar for 10 days til the staples are removed...something she is not real happy about...

But I am grateful it was not much, much worse. New rule....no fishing paraphernalia allowed in either home. Luckily, ATM is closing on his cabin May 21st...it has a shop where everything can be stored. So for those with animal family members, a friendly reminder....make sure NOTHING is left out!!!!
Did your cat SWALLOW the crankbait?

No...I think she used it like a toy, n got it hooked into her leg n belly, n then ripped it out of her belly, n got it re hooked back in her belly. It was stuck in her when I found her, and had a 1 1/2 inch open wound next to it.

Dang Barbie that sounds nasty! Glad everything is going to be alright! Granted I don't like a cat inside the house but I sure wouldn't want anything to happen to the wifes cat! Tigger is a pain in the butt! He thinks he is a dog and he plays fetch!

And besides Tigger gives my little girl Sugar someone to play with! Aint nothing better than to watch a 3.6 pound Yorkie chase a 15 pound cat around the house!Rofl
