And FYI...when I buy my boat, I do plan on getting a truck, but it will not be new, or even close to new,it's only purpose will be to haul the boat and I will be paying cash for it. So Billbob, I can still drive u around

I had an interesting question pm'd to me over night... "Why not buy one, then trade it in after a year, and get the other?"....and it is actually simple. I have had 3 new cars my entire life, 1 I totaled and the other two I drove for several years. I don't believe in getting a new car every year or two. In my opinion the car depreciates the minute u drive it off the lot, and I believe the only way to really get ur money out of it is drive it "til the wheels fall off"....and I like not having car payments. So when it comes to buying a car, I wanna make sure it is something I will be happy with for the next 8 years or so....and that I won't have mechanical issues as well. Hope that explains it well enough. Maybe after today, I'll be a little closer to a decision. If not, my daughter might kill me, she is tired of sharing "her" car.
You are right,, " A vehicle is a depriciating liability". My 2000 GMC has 437k miles on it. I replaced the tranny last year still on original engine.

Buy the camaro, the dodge has a good engine but that's about it. The Chevy is made in USA the dodge is made in Mexico.

Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!
