May be but its not written on the PD like it is on the Terrova, and I know for a fact the PD's use more battery......thats why Scott and some of the others have switched.

Ok and I'm seeing the mounts are slightly different... But even on their comparison chart the mount is the only difference I can see...? Don't know?

A PD is harder to deploy and stow than a Terrova because the mount and latch are made different. I have used them both and to me the foot control works better on the Terrova plus the fact that on the Terrova you can use both the remote and the foot control at the same time which is nice if your at the back of the boat with the remote reeling in a fish and your partner is up front and needs to make a correction or a change of course for some reason. And I really think the steering is better on the Terrova.

From a guy that has had 2 powerdrives and now has a Terrova, get the Terrova if u can. Sorta like getting an F-150 work truck or an F-250 King Ranch. The 150 will do the job but the 250 is SO MUCH sweeter!!!

[QUOTE=Gator_1;1895598]Who has the best deals on them?

I had one on order from Sportsman Guide because if you join their Buyer's Club($25 I think) you get a 10% discount. The Terrrova list at $1209 so we talking a $120 off. However they had them on backorder until May 5th and I did not want to wait so I found one place that offered free shipping and got it from there. Just now got it installed and made a couple of test runs. So far I like it, but if you are use to a cable control unit this type is slower to react. I will be at Santee Coopr for a week fishing in the flooded cypress swamps. That is where I am a little concerned about the reaction time on the foot control. We'll see.
