What do people do with their old stuff? The last combo kit I bought was the neon green Ryobis when the lithium batteries had just come out. Great tools, but after 4 or 5 years the batteries wouldn't hold a charge more than a few minutes of work. A couple of new batteries were more than buying the new combo set that I bought. Does that make since? Anyway, I've got a perfectly good drill, skillsaw and sawzall with no batteries. Kinda seems wasteful to toss them in the trash.
Can't speak much of them we used dewalt when I was installing conveyors but we did have to buy a Milwaukee band saw while working at the Milwaukee wear house on hackscross in olive branch and broke 3 of them b4 we got done with the job. As for our dewalts them batteries lasted forever as did the tools. ( impact, sawzall, drill, band saw, hammer drill )
Band saw and hammerdrill were not battery operated.

Portal cable makes the best band saws (corded type) we got three of them here at the refinery that are 15 years old. No plastic at all.

Oh yea their older stuff is great. And their new stuff still ain't bad. But sence black & Decker bought they out they ain't as good as they were before. But for the price they are probably the best bang for the buck. Milwaukee is high dollar and so is portal cable.
