I also have a fortune invested in DeWalt's. The only problem is when Black and Decker bought the DeWalt line, they started cheaping out. They are using plastic gears in them now. I don't consider them contractor grade anymore. That's why all my new tools will be Milwaukee.

Think after hearing this I will start looking at the Milwaukee's, any difference in grade on them?

Rees as far as i know they aint never had but one grade and that was good. Used to have their transportation side as a lease customer when i worked and their stuff was top notch. Most everything was made or assembled in Arkansas and Wisconson.

Milwaukee is hard to beat. I have some of the older DeWalt stuff thats really held up well. I tried Makita but didn't care for them. I have some Bosch tools that are also good.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
