Barbie and I got checked at Teckville when we took out Sunday. Both of the game wardens we dealt with were professional and courteous.
I had a fish I had not properly measured in the livewell. The game warden went as far as darn near squishing its guts out to make it stretch to the 12" mark. I can honestly say if the roles had been reversed he would have got a ticket.
    Lesson learned.

Glad it worked out great for you.....most of all the mr. green jeans are great people and will help in any way they can but it only takes one bad one to make everyone bad mouth them. And most of the ones that talk bad or the outlaws anyway trying to slip out short or over the limit fish.
    Great post.

I agree. They were professional and courteous when they wrote out my ticket about this time last year.

we were checked at enid by three wardens, 2 of which i knew.............they were VERY courteous, polite, and downright friendly.........we chatted about a lot of things for 15 inutes or so, lol. these guys have a tough job, and they mostly do it well, so lets give them credit for what they do............they are only enforcing the rules and regulations, which is their job.

Always good to see posts about the good things they do other than just the folks venting about getting caught. Thanks.

Last year Jacob and our son went to Enid to give the boat a test run. Needless to say at 7 yrs old Riley wasn't much help. Sooooo...Jacob had a rope hooked to the boat and the trailer (so he thought) and unloaded. Needless to say the boat went on out into the lake. It was Feb. so he couldn't swim after it. So he went to the station and the greenjeans took him and Riley for a spin on their center console boat and gave Riley stickers, coloring books, frisbees and some other stuff. We have been checked twice this year as well...both at Sardis and Enid and they have all been very nice to us. Even when Jacob's license were expired by a week at Sardis!!
