Thread: recon this is fish?

yeah--got the same one--you should have seen it at Grenada last weekend--nothing but trash in the water (I think just the particals/silt floating)
Most of the time so far when I have seen a fish on 2d it is just a white spec on the DI--and on the DI when moving (which you really need to be) it is a straight line. The picks up top are from the Humviewer. I've been reading on the SI stuff and making my DI settings the same as what they do on the SI not sure if that is the best but is a place to start. It is pretty sweet. Not sure but I think I have a shot of fish coming up to my bait. Saw something like it on BBC and mine looks alot like it (on 2D)

I do know that when there is a lot of trash floating it picks it up in the water. THERE IS aa thread in the main page i think where they are talking about this unit . it has a lot of info . I was reading it in December when I got mine . I love mine so far it has been great .

That is a pretty interesting screen shot. It the first picture you posted DI? I have never seen arches on DI. Usually it is just dots for fish.... It is hard to say what that is. The arches are so profound it looks like fish but it is hard to be sure.... Long story short.. I dunno.. LOL

I think they are fish, but who knows what kinda fish. In that channel, they could be cats, or buffalo, or anything. The arches should be fishes. If a fish only showed as a dot so would trash.

BTW, the 2D look shows what could be interpreted to be a thermocline. a little more color in there tho.
